About Me 〰️
Hi! My name is Natalie Suh.
I’m originally from Southern California, and I’m currently a junior at Boston University pursuing dual degrees in Public Relations and Data Science.
At my core, I’m passionate about storytelling and the role communication plays in shaping how people connect with one another and the world around them. I’ve always been drawn to the moments behind the scenes, the reactions, the emotions, and the stories that make experiences feel meaningful.
My interest in sports comes from that same place. I love the energy and excitement, but what really drives me is how those moments are captured and shared. Through my work in video production, I’ve learned how to translate real-time experiences into stories that people can feel. Through public relations, I’ve developed a strategic lens for how those stories are positioned and communicated. And through data science, I’ve gained the ability to understand what resonates and why, allowing me to approach storytelling in a more intentional, audience-driven way.
Representation is a big part of why this matters to me. Growing up, I didn’t realize a career in sports was even possible because I rarely saw women like me in those spaces, especially behind the scenes. That’s a big part of what motivates me now, to build a career in this industry and be someone my younger self could have looked up to.
I’m driven by creating work that brings people in, captures moments that matter, and makes others feel seen. That’s the kind of storytelling I want to keep building my career around.
My Experiences
Learn more about me through everything that I’ve done!
When I graduated from high school, I made the decision to move across the country to attend Boston University!
Last summer, I studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland, where I interned with Badminton Ireland. I was able to create content featuring some of the sport’s top athletes while also traveling throughout Ireland and Europe in my free time.
I was born and raised in La Cañada Flintridge, California, just outside of Los Angeles. I grew up surrounded by sports, spending my weekends playing basketball, competing in swim meets, and watching UCLA football with my family.
Since coming to BU, I’ve gotten involved in student organizations, made some of my best memories, and spent plenty of time studying. Here, I’m presenting at a technical workshop for my pre-professional technology fraternity, Kappa Theta Pi.
During my junior year, I took on a role as a Control Room Intern at TD Garden. Through this experience, I’ve learned so much and had the opportunity to work some incredible games, from Bruins and Celtics playoff runs to BU’s own women’s Beanpot.
That’s all for now!
