Los Angeles Rams 〰️
As a Video Operations Intern for the Los Angeles Rams, I worked alongside the Football Video department during training camp and the preseason, supporting the video and technology behind the team’s day-to-day preparation. My responsibilities included:
Filming practices and drills using PTZ and handheld cameras for coaches, players, scouts, and football operations staff
Editing, numbering, organizing, and distributing practice film to support coaching review and team preparation
Setting up, breaking down, and maintaining cameras, tablets, video boards, sound systems, and other practice equipment
Assisting with the transportation and setup of video equipment for practices and game days
The Rams’ “we before me” mindset was one of my biggest takeaways from the experience. It emphasized the importance of functioning as a team, putting the group’s needs first, and being willing to do whatever you can to help the people around you succeed.
My other major takeaway was seeing how detail-oriented the staff and players are in their preparation. It introduced me to a more strategic side of videography, where every angle and piece of footage serves a purpose in helping the team review, prepare, and improve.
