As a Control Room Intern for TD Garden, I play a hands-on role in live sports production, helping bring the energy of Bruins and Celtics games to life for fans in the arena. I also support the occasional concert, comedy show, and other special event hosted at TD Garden, gaining experience across a variety of live productions. My work centers on capturing key moments as they happen and supporting the fast-paced control room environment, including:

• Operating handheld broadcast cameras to capture fan reactions, in-game moments, and crowd activations throughout the arena

• Managing fixed-position cameras to ensure consistent coverage of live gameplay

• Supporting replay coordination and playback in the control room to enhance the in-arena experience

• Operating in-arena (Hog 4) lighting systems during games, including game lights and stadium lasers, to elevate key moments and overall production

This role has given me a front-row seat to live sports storytelling while teaching me how to stay quick, adaptable, and detail-oriented in a high-energy environment. I’m excited to continue building on that experience as I return to TD Garden next season as a Control Room Technician.
